What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

So what? The media are starting to act like a bunch of gossip columnists again - No one has even proven that Richardson acted improperly at all and already they are breathlessly trying to make connections to Obama that - even if Richardson acted improperly - are not relevent....how about doing the research and THEN reporting the news?  The man donated a total of $3300 to Obama .... out of how many hundreds of millions of dollars? Yeah, I'm sure that buys a lot of influence. I can't believe any reputable news organization is even dedicating an inch of space to this nonstory gossip piece.

May I add my constant plea for the removal of all private money from our political elections. I contend that 99% of the money given to politicians is for the giver getting something in return and is destroying our country

I will have to agree with your sentiments. Complete investigation first.  Story afterwards!

I think its funny that when the media reports anything remotely negative about BO, it is immediately dismissed as "gossip."  As far as MSNBC being reputable - that's debatable.  It is only a matter of time before the tingling in the leg of a reporter becomes a pain in the neck for Democrats.

Agree 100% with Go USA!!!  The liberal media will not mention a lot of these allegations and probes because they want to keep their man as clean as they can.  They are all still "tingling" in their legs.  Strong fish smell!!

I gave the Obama campaign $165 over the last year. I also sent an email and requested that I be appointed the Ambassador of Luxembourg. I have this gut feeling that I won’t be appointed.

Luxembourg is highly Industrialized. Its not very "green". Its a relatively wealth country (remember: success over $250,000 is bad). You'll have a lot of work ahead of you to turn them into a green socialist state. However, it would be a great Ambassadorship for you.

Send another $165, however, send it in cash. Paste over the pictures on the currency with pictures of Richardson, Blago, and Burris. Then sign your request for Ambassadorship: "Bernie M.".

        You'll be a shoe-in!

          Hey Dollar Wise,

Thanks for the advise. However you have to remember that $165 is about 1,155 in dog money!

You people just don’t understand the way news, at least American news, works do you? The job of the liberal news media is not to report facts but rather to provoke hysteria, fear, and panic into the daily of most citizens. They are paid to distort what few facts they posses to agree with the beliefs and the liberal slanted bias of the individuals paying their pay checks. It has already been proven, due to the arrogance of Mr. Rather, that news people will even go so far as to fabricate stories and attempt to convince their viewing audience the stories are true and factual. The thing I find appalling about these purveyors of lies, half truths, innuendos, biased reporting and fabricated stories is the fact they will always fall back on their freedom of speech rights in an effort to shed blame for their reckless and negligent news reporting. They contend that they are not accountable for any damage to any one person of thing due their non factual reporting of the facts and there in lies the flaw. We should start all news people, whether electronic or printed, accountable for their reporting. If it is proven that they reported things as fact when they were now they should be terminated immediately. If their negligent reporting causes harm to any one or anything in anyway and it can be proven they had no factual basis for their story they should sued and then terminated. Maybe then this country can get back to good old factual, truthful, non biased reporting that deals with only the facts and nothing but the facts. I for one don’t give one hoot in a holler about how what Mrs. Couric, Mr. Williams or any other news person feels about any news story nor do I want to hear their slanted opinion on any issue. I want to be given the facts and left to make my own decision
