“I’ll pay higher taxes. I look at it this way. I can pay higher taxes and people can have jobs, or I can pay lower taxes and I have my kid’s teacher asking me for a loan, which is true,” Rock told the Associated Press at the Sundance Film Festival.

I think there are many Americans willing to pay higher taxes however they want to know that those taxes are not being squandered by a government wrought with self-indulgent politicians. They want to know that we are taking care of Americans first. It may well seem in today’s America that the American citizen is taking a back to foreign citizens both abroad and at home.
